In his master studies, Stefan Büringer steadily achieved exceptional performance and consequently finished his master degree in Computer Science in four terms. For his master thesis, Stefan developed central components of the Clavii BPM Cloud Plattform—a platform for managing, modeling and enacting business processes in the cloud. Relying on web interfaces, the latter especially enables users to manage, model and execute business processes in the cloud. Therefore, Stefan’s thesis focused on the design and realization of a user-friendly modeling and execution environment. In particular, he developed innovative concepts for modeling, visualization and change of complex process models based on views to hide complexity from end users as well as to provide intuitive usability. Overall, his master thesis is an excellent technological contribution exceeding expectations for master theses in general.
