Project Description

For a lot of application systems (e.g., ERP- or CRM- Systems), process logic is hard coded. This leads to a more complicated and expensive way of maintaining, meaning they require long development cycles. Simple changes in a process are resulting in high-cost code-adjustments and complex software-testing. Because of these circumstances, IT-systems are very limited adjusted to changing business processes.

Based on the results of research done by the Institute for Databases and Information Systems we developed with recent web technologies the ADAM-Procedure (Applied Data-Aligned Modelling). We use this procedure to develop a cloud-based process digitalization platform, combining aspects of business process management(BPM) and a consolidated enterprise resource planning (ERP)-software. Therefore, SMEs can digitalize their individual Business processes. Process adjustments can be realized faster and more cost-efficient than with merchantable IT-Solutions Like ERP. Our PD-platform enables a development, administration, and composite of process flexible software solutions. This product idea is also shown in the illustration above.

Beschreibung
