Examination Board Mathematical Biometry

Responsibilities and Information

To get a time extension (for a thesis etc.) contact the office of the examination board with a suitably justified request in due time. Please note that any medical certificates submitted must describe illnesses and their effects in such a way that the examination board can form its own judgement as to how the effects relevant to studies and examinations can be compensated for. Certificates must state that an examination has been carried out by the certifying doctor and the date of the examination.

For approval and classification of examinations from other institutions and universities abroad please contact the coordinator for exchange and double degree programmes, Helen Kafka. You should include your current programme including the year of your examination regulations (or a transcript of records) and complete information on the course(s) such as amount of hours and credit points, complete description of contents or module description.

Signature for Funding under BAFöG

To obtain the necessary signature for a BAföG application (usually form 5 or "Studienabschlussförderung" for an extension) please write to the student advisory service for Mathematics to schedule an appointment. Please fill out the form as completely as possible beforehand.
