Two of the OSORA founding team members (Lucas Engelhardt und Frank Niemeyer) used to work with us in the UZWR. The headline of OSORA is the Simulation of Fracture Healing and they aim to bring this to market. It started in Ulm at the Institute of Orthopaedic Research and Biomechanik (Prof. Anita Ignatius and priviously Prof. Lutz Claes). Later the numerical models have been improved and further developed in our centre (UZWR), with an dominating impact from that two researchers. It was their PHD thesis, so they really know their way around fracture healing and simulation.
