Dr. Andreas Schweinbenz

Born:

1967 in Wangen in the Allgaeu region, where he also finished his secondary education

Education:

From 1987 to 1994 he studied business mathematics in Ulm. He gained experience abroad during numerous journeys to all of the continents, each lasting several months.

PhD:

In the Corporate Planning Department, he finished his PhD in 1997 on the topic of environmental protection in China. During his dissertation, Andreas Schweinbenz was working for a corporate consulting agency on international projects. He was able to unite theory and practice in the area of transferring environmental protection technology to Asia.

Professional and Academic Career:

From 1997 to 2001, he was responsible for Marketing and Sales at Netpioneer GmbH in Karlsruhe, a company which he co-founded. His focus was on developing e-business concepts for the industries of tourism, financial services and trading.

Since June 2001, he has been managing Netviewer GmbH as executive partner. This company is one of the fastest-growing software firms in Germany, thanks to its web collaboration tools, which have won numerous prizes.

Today:

Dr. Andreas Schweinbenz is the CEO of Netviewer GmbH in Karlsruhe.
