Terms of contract for research on demand

Industry

Framework contract in place
You can find a template for a non-binding offer for your industry partner in our internal forms cabinet.

As soon as the industry partner sends an order/request, we need the folllowing documents for the order acceptance:
a) Order/request
b) Form Erklärung bei Zuwendungen Dritter (declaration when accepting gratuities from others)
c) Project costing
d) Your offer including project description

Please include the staff of the legal department in the contract negotiations. We need the following documents:
a) Offer/specification of services
b) Form Erklärung bei Zuwendungen Dritter (declaration when accepting gratuities from others)
c) Project costing
d) Contract suggestion from the industry partern if avaiable

Are you planning a joint research project with an industry partner in which the industry partner performs research as well?

Make sure that your project has a solid legal foundation by entering into a cooperation agreement beforehand.
We need to know about your planned handling of research results.

Are you required to sign a confidential disclosure agreement for a research project or the supervision of a doctoral thesis?

Refer to the president's signing authority and let us review the contract conditions.

If you are writing a master's thesis please use this agreement.

Do you require specific materials for your research and the rights holder is asking you to sign an MTA?

b) Short description of the material and the intended area of use.

We assess the scope of your agreement an in individual cases consult with the International Office (Dept. II-3)
