The Board leads Ulm University and shapes its strategic development. It sets clear priorities, takes decisions and establishes a solid foundation for research, teaching and knowledge transfer. Together with the faculties, the administration and the students, the Board works to further advance Ulm University as a forward-looking research university.

The members of the Board

The Board of Ulm University comprises the President, a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and a total of four Vice Presidents. The President represents the university both internally and externally and provides key impetus for its further development. Until a new CFO takes office, the Deputy CFO is responsible for financial and human resources management and ensures reliable structures in research and teaching. Together, the Board steers the development of our young, research-intensive university with its focus on STEM and Medicine.
