Literature reading, programming, measurements and evaluation
Synthetic aperture radar (SAR) was developed in the 1950s to fulfill the requirements for high resolution aerospace radar imagery. The same requirement is now prevalent in the automotive sector.
The aim of this thesis is to demonstrate the proof of concept whether a SAR demonstrator can be built by integrating a radar and an acceleration sensor so that they carry out synchronised measurements. After signal processing the final result is a high resolution image of the target scene.
Literature reading, programming, measurements and evaluation
Good knowledge and expertise in signal processing, algorithm development, good knowledge of MATLAB and C++.
