Adaptive Modulation Formats for Detection of Extended Targets

The precise detection of extended objects, like pedestrians or vehicles is an important task for future assistance systems. For classification the Doppler resolution is a key parameter, hence it should be enhanced.

The task is to evaluate the combination of different modulation schemes with respect to an optimal Doppler resolution. In simulations the capabilities and limitations of those modulations schemes are to be shown. Using measurements the results need to be validated.
