Implementation of a SAR Demonstrator
Short description
Synthetic aperture radar (SAR) was developed in the 1950s to fulfill the requirements for high resolution aerospace radar imagery. The same requirement is now prevalent in the automotive sector.
The aim of this thesis is to demonstrate the proof of concept whether a SAR demonstrator can be built by integrating a radar and an acceleration sensor so that they carry out synchronised measurements. After signal processing the final result should be a high resolution image of the target scene.
