More about the Professorship for Digital Business

Steffen Zimmermann is the author of several articles in leading international journals, such as Information Systems Research, Journal of Strategic Information Systems, and Journal of the AIS. He also regularly presents his research findings at major international conferences in the field of business informatics, such as the International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS), Conference on Information Systems and Technology (CIST), and European Conference on Information Systems (ECIS).

In the Digital Business department, we are always on the lookout for motivated student assistants (m/f/d) to support us in teaching, research and practical projects. As part of a young and committed team, you will take on a wide range of tasks, including the preparation and revision of courses (bzw. genau angeben: lecture, tutorial etc.), research work, the preparation of presentations, data analyses, the development of prototypes and the implementation of experiments.

As part of your work, you will not only build up professional skills in the areas of sustainable digital transformation and business analytics, but also interdisciplinary skills, especially in project management, professional teamwork and scientific work. You will also learn how to analyse and solve practical problems in a structured and well-founded manner. Your competences and responsibilities will gradually develop with increasing experience.
