Investigation of time frequency analysis methods for radar signal processing

Autonomous driving is meanwhile the focus of many researchers and automobile manufacturers around the world. In order to interact with the surrounding environment, many sensors are employed in vehicles. Radars are one of the important sensors for obtaining information about the surrounding objects. Temporal information is one kind of data needed for gesture recognition of people surrounding the vehicles. For example, velocity information could be represented versus time to show the velocity variations versus time. In this thesis, different time frequency analysis techniques should be investigated and simulated using Matlab.
