TIL:DR - Today I Learnt: Doing Research

About

Started in 2021, TIL:DR is a series of proceedings and technical reports coming from any type of teaching activity in computer science. This includes proceedings of undergraduate and graduate seminars, project reports from undergraduate and graduate students as well as technical reports issued by PhD candidates on their way to graduation.

All TIL:DR volumes are published according to the principle of Open Access, i.e., they are available online and free of charge. We use the university's publication server OPARU for the publications.

As such, TIL:DR aspires to implement as much as possible existing standards and best practices when it comes to publishing and quality assurances. Doing so, we hope to teach the art of publication to our students on the living object. The TIL:DR editorial board ensures that all volumes to be published have undergone a quality assurance process regarding content, language, artwork, and layout. In particular, all work is supposed to undergo a peer review and follow a shepherding process with experienced researcher acting as shepherd.

Volumes in TIL:DR appear irregularly, but at least once a year. Volume numbers are assigned by the
editorial board.
