New paper in Attention, Perception, & Psychophysics

Universität Ulm

Lisa Eberhardt and Anke Huckauf investigated crowding effects (i.e., reduced recognizability of peripherally presented visual stimuli which are flanked by similar stimuli) in real depth. The data show similar effects to two-dimensional space: Crowding increases with increased stimulus distance in depth from fixation depth.
