Congratulations! Julian Tiedeken successfully defended his PhD thesis

On July 17, 2019, Julian Tiedeken successfully defended his PhD thesis entitled

Integrating heterogenous product data in distributed, complex engineering processes

at Ulm University, Germany. The DBIS team is pleased to congratulate Julian on his successful PhD defense (Dr. rer. nat.) and wishes him and his family all the best for their future. Julian worked on his PhD thesis in a joint project of Daimler and DBIS, in the meantime is appointed by BMW Car IT.

Julian's PhD advisor and PhD promotor is Prof. Dr. Manfred Reichert. Julian was co-supervised by Dr. Joachim Herbst (Daimler). The role of the external external referee if filled by Prof. Dr. Richard Lenz (Friedrich Alexander University Erlangen-Nurnberg). Julian conducted his PhD research in the PROCEED [LINK] project, which targets at the development of next generation techniques for integrating heterogenous product data in the context of automotive engineering.
