Michael Höse presented his PhD research and successfully defended his thesis with the titel "Advancing quantum technology based on solid-state single-photon emitters" on April 27th 2023 . He worked in our group on integrated defects in all-diamond waveguides and explored novel, mechanically decoupled emitters in hBN. We congratulate Dr. Michael Höse to his achievement and wish him all the best for his future, which is starting in the Quantum Computing Initiative of the DLR.
After his defense Michael received his PhD hat and we celebrated together with him.
