Scientific projects

I am an evolutionary ecologist studying the dynamics and evolution of diseases, using primarily insect models (bees & flies). My current projects are (i) the understanding of ecological and evolutionary drivers of disease transmission in complex multi-host and multi-pathogen systems; (ii) the study of viral diversity in pollinators and (iii) the impact of immune functions in pathogen shedding and disease transmission.
