What does the apprenticeship offer you?
Are you curious about what happens inside electronic devices? About small measuring instruments and large machines? About why theory and practice sometimes don’t seem to match? During your apprenticeship, you will learn the fundamental knowledge and practical skills needed to understand, build, and work with electrical and electronic devices. This includes reading circuit diagrams, soldering, selecting components, and turning an idea into a functioning device.
Because this apprenticeship is very broad and strongly fundamentals‑oriented, you will later have many opportunities to apply what you’ve learned and to specialize in different technical fields.
What makes the apprenticeship at the university special?
In addition to everyday tasks, you will constantly encounter new challenges in the Scientific Workshop, working in a small, supportive team. We collaborate closely with researchers from various university departments and respond to new ideas and special requirements: developing solutions together, building prototypes and experimental setups, modifying them, and—yes—sometimes learning from mistakes. Variety is guaranteed.
