Our new article in International Journal of Psychophysiology is online now! Lisa Eberhardt, Georg Grön, Martin Ulrich, Anke Huckauf and Christoph Strauch report an astonishing single case which is able to substantially dilate and constrict his pupil on command. Using eye-tracking, fMRI, skin conductance and optometry excludes that this is achieved by indirect strategies. This suggests that direct voluntary control of the pupillary musculare is possible.
