On Tuesday, members of our Data Economy network visited Uhlmann Pac-Systeme GmbH & Co. KG at its headquarters in Laupheim.
The status of the evening was on a highly topical subject: the successful implementation and embedding of AI strategies in business practice.
To kick things off, Dr Mario Rometsch (Uhlmann) provided a fascinating insight into how Uhlmann is strategically aligning its analytics and AI operations through the ‘Wide & Deep’ strategy. He also presented practical details about Uhlmann SmartAssist. Another highlight was the exclusive factory tour, which gave participants a direct glimpse behind the scenes of production and provided an opportunity to ask questions.
Following the networking session, the event concluded with a peer exchange. A presentation by Dr Philipp Hühn (DASU) sparked a discussion on specific challenges and potential solutions relating to AI strategy within companies.
