How to get here

You can view the institute’s location on Google Maps ©. On the map, our institute’s building is located right at the end of the street.

If you wish to travel by car, we have two sets of directions for you:

Via the A8 or A7 from the north

  • Leave the A8 motorway at the Ulm-West exit (No. 62) towards Ulm/Friedrichshafen (B10).

  • Leave the B10 at the exit towards Wissenschaftsstadt-Universität and keep left. You will then come to a motorway-style slip road (Berliner Ring), which you should follow.

  • At the first junction, turn left at the traffic lights onto Albert-Einstein-Allee.

  • At the James-Franck-Ring roundabout, take the Helmholtzstraße/Science Park 1 exit and immediately afterwards turn left again into Helmholtzstraße. You will then see a multi-storey car park on your left.

  • Follow Helmholtzstraße to the end (approx. 5 mins’ walk). The blue building is No. 22. You will find our offices on the ground floor in the left-hand part of the building.

Via the A7 from the south

  • Leave the A7 motorway at the Hittistetten junction towards Ulm.

  • Now follow the B10 (urban motorway) through Ulm. On your left you will see IKEA, then you will drive through a tunnel.
