Stay advanced: Continuing Medical Education in Oncology (certificate, microcredentials/"nuggets")
Intensive continuing education in oncology for physicians and scientists and study staff: From now on, four modules of the Advanced Oncology continuing education programme or parts thereof are also available as certificate courses or microcredentials, respectively.
Here, you will find collected expertise in oncology in a distilled form. Advanced Oncology’s certificate range of offers imparts a broad spectrum of specialist knowledge, which is presented by international experts from healthcare and research, including clinical research. You may learn flexibly and self-determined online using many didactically fine-tuned lessons aimed at physicians and their colleagues in the clinic. Approximately 90% of the learning material relies primarily on your motivation to self-study. Hence: Make use of your drive to self-improve!
Participants in the Advanced Oncology continuing education endeavours also network personally with teachers, international fellow students and alumni. Each certificate (but not the microcredentials) includes workshop meetings in person, on site in the exclusive conference rooms of Villa Eberhard or our state-of-the-art training hospital TTU. The global Advanced Oncology network of excellently trained oncology professionals is growing continuously. Would you like to become part of this network?
If you prefer a timely and financially less intense option, kindly contact the scientific director to learn more about our microcredentials ("nuggets"). We offer units with a workload of 25-30 h workload (1 ECTS) at 395 € for selected topics. Let us tailor the package that suits your educational needs, no matter whether you are a new fellow in oncology or an oncology-related medical discipline, a scientist who wishes to augment their portfolio towards clinical research or as a study nurse in a clinical trial unit who wants to broaden their horizon within the clinical research landscape. There will be an introduction to the learning platform, and there will be self-assessments to make sure you learned everything you set out to do. You will gain an in-depth insight into the entire field of clinical oncology and the continuing education covers all important aspects of a comprehensive care for cancer patients. Clinical Research
Knowledge in compact form:
You will learn the basics of clinical research, including biometrics and project management. Additionally, you will participate in workshops on scientific writing and literature management.
