AG Lehre: Improving Medical Education through Scientific Methods
At our institute, we conduct research in medical education to scientifically evaluate and improve our teaching programs. Therefore, we apply evidence-based methods to assess the effectiveness of learning outcome and to identify areas for improvement. Our research frequently uses tools from psychology and educational science, such as surveys, exam analysis, and statistical evaluation methods. Key areas of focus include the development and implementation of progress tests, the design of educational training programs for teachers, and studies on the role of gross anatomy courses in developing core professional competencies in future physicians.
The AG Teaching Research at the Institute of Anatomy and Cell Biology works in close collaboration with the Medical Faculty’s own Teaching Research Group: www.uni-ulm.de/medizinische-fakultaet/studium-und-lehre/informationen-fuer-lehrende/lehrforschung/
