Research Interests

Analysis of partial differential equations, calculus of variations, mathematical problems in continuum mechanics. Specifically:

  • compressible and incompressible Euler and Navier-Stokes equations and related models
  • transport and continuity equations
  • convex integration
  • existence and uniqueness for weak, measure-valued, and statistical solutions of partial differential equations
  • partial differential equations in biology, e.g. population models, cell growth/fragmentation
  • variational problems in nonlinear elasticity
  • algorithmic fairness

Here, here, and here are video recordings of some of my talks. A talk for a general audience (in German) can be found here.
