Department V-1 is in charge of construction and property matters, tenancies as well as fundamental questions concerning the use and provision of university premises. In cooperation with the ministries, the building authority and the city of Ulm we coordinate construction measures and the overall structural development of the University, including the planning of the surrounding areas such as parking, traffic routing and signposting.
We are furthermore responsible for the general management and cleaning of the facilities, transportation and the post office, among other things.
The University has several guest apartments. Their letting and administration is also one of our tasks.
