Dept. V-3 Technical Building Management

Department V-3 is in charge of the operation, management and maintenance of all technical building systems in the area Uni West as well as the properties Oberberghof, Helmholtzstraße and in the city.

Bereiche

Management of the entire water supply with hot and cold drinking water, soft water and demineralised water. We also manage the sewage technology including waste water neutralisation systems and the cooling systems for radioactive liquid waste. We are furthermore in charge of the central gas supply with liquid gas, the supervision of the fire extinguishing systems and the sterilisation technology with wall autoclaves.

Management of the entire heating and ventilation technology as well as the refrigeration supply at Uni West. This includes the heating systems and steam generators as well as the ventilation and air conditioning systems. The management of all cold rooms and refrigeration systems such as deep-freeze units and ceiling-mounted cooling units also belongs to our scope of responsibilities.

Management of the entire electrotechnical systems. These include electrical power supply, lighting and battery systems, lifts, lightning protection systems, smoke extraction systems, electric motors etc.
