meeting point: South Entrarce, University Ulm

guided tour by Birgit Hochmuth

At the entrance to the University of Ulm, you are greeted by an enormous colourful figure standing in a pond: “Der Poet und seine Muse“ created by Niki de Saint Phalle in 1973. You will find another work from this French artist during the walk. On this 1.5-km round trip you will also see the „Ulmer Tor“ by Bernhard Heiliger and „Drei Bildsäulen“ by Max Bill. The Art Path at the University of Ulm is a one-of-a-kind highlight of Modern Art. On our tour you will come across sculptures and wall decorations in beautifully-landscaped surroundings. You will get to know the outdoor sculptures on the campus and also learn something about the artists and their styles.
The Art Path’s trail is wide and flat and is wheelchair-accessible. We recommend suitable footwear and clothing for the location and the weather.
Guided tours are available and will only take place if enough people are registered. If you are interested please register by email no later than June 26st 2020.
