The role of the Gender Equality Unit is to continuously improve the structural framework for gender equality in academia and to develop measures that support this process.
The aim of the work carried out by the Equal Opportunities Officer, the Equal Opportunities Commission and the Equal Opportunities Office is to ensure the constitutionally mandated equality of opportunity between women and men, in particular the elimination of existing disadvantages faced by women in academia and female students.
To this end, the Gender Equality Office works closely with both the administration and the faculties.
