Due to the university’s unique architectural design, the decision was taken back in 2001 to establish an emergency response team. In the event of a medical emergency on campus, the team supports the ambulance service by providing advanced first aid and guiding the emergency services, including the emergency doctor, to the scene. The emergency response team is well trained and equipped. It is alerted via the emergency services control centre: therefore, in an emergency, dial 112.
