Ergonomics and a hire scheme for ergonomic aids
Based on the results of the 2013 staff survey on health, the ‘Der Eselsberg bewegt sich’ project team set up a working group involving Occupational Health and Safety, the Company Medical Service, the Human Resources department and the Occupational Health Management team to develop a concept and framework for a loan scheme for ergonomic aids.
This newly designed loan scheme gives all university staff the opportunity to try out ergonomic aids for up to four weeks.
The following aids are now available for loan:
- Ergonomic keyboards
- Ergonomic mice
- Footrests
- Document holders
- Mouse pads
- Wrist rests
The loan scheme is coordinated by the workplace health management programme “Der Eselsberg bewegt sich”.
