Participants of the seminar will receive current research papers which will then be presented in the seminar. The seminar will cover theory and applications of machine learning in actuarial science following the textbook “Data Analytics for Non-Life Insurance Pricing” by Mario V. Wüthrich.

The seminar is suitable for Master students in Wirtschaftsmathematik, Mathematik, Wirtschaftswissenschaften, Finance, Mathematical Data Science or Mathematische Biometrie.

Based on their performance in the seminar, every participant will be credited with an (internal) grade.
