Arrival Days

Students participating in our intensive German language course must arrive during the Arrival Days 1. Students not participating in our orientation / intensive language course must arrive during the Arrival Days 2. Exact dates are listed above under "Academic Calender". Please note: It is not possible to move into your room before or after the designated Arrival Days because the International Office has to make a number of arrangements for a large group of students. Students who arrive earlier must stay in a hotel or at a youth hostel at their own expense.

Intensive German Language Course

Students wishing to participate in the language course should make sure to arrive on time so as not to miss any sessions. They need to plan in at least three "administrative days" before the start of the orientation days (working days, not Saturday/Sunday!).

Exam Period
  • Exam Period I: Last week during lecture period + the following three weeks after lecture period.
  • Exam Period II: 3 weeks before the beginning of the next semester lecture period + first week of next semester lecture period.

Sometimes, exams can also be scheduled on an individual basis.
