We are sharing a call for assistance from our Ukrainian partner university in Kyiv, the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
Following massive attacks on civilian and energy infrastructure, students and staff there have repeatedly been without electricity and heating for weeks. In order to maintain teaching and research activities and to support students and staff, there is an urgent need for equipment for power generation, energy storage, and heating supply (including generators, battery systems, power banks, and solar technology).
Anyone who would like to help ensure that teaching can continue now has the opportunity to do so:
The non-profit association Ukrainer in Stuttgart e. V. has set up a dedicated fundraising campaign running until March 15, 2026. The donations will be used, in close coordination with the university in Kyiv, to procure and transport the required equipment.
