Programme
The master's degree programme in Management and Economics - Digital Business & Analytics is aimed at bachelor's graduates from business and computer science-related degree programmes.
The programme includes a dedicated build-up phase with two basic bachelor's courses to align your level of knowledge. Depending on your previous knowledge, you will thus acquire the necessary business or computer science knowledge for your further course of study.
The compulsory modules of the master's programme include the core lecture in management information systems and the lecture in methods of management information systems. Specific methods, instruments and topics of management information systems are taught in these programme-exclusive modules.
In addition to the compulsory modules, you can set individual specialisations in extensive compulsory elective areas. Specific compulsory elective areas are offered on digital business and analytics, in which you can combine suitable lectures from the departments of economics and computer science. In addition, the extended compulsory elective area offers further extensive options from economics, computer science and mathematics.
Two exclusive practical projects with partner companies are another key component of the programme. Here you can consolidate what you have learnt in theory using relevant practical examples/applications. The degree programme is supplemented by an additive key qualification (ASQ), for example on ethics in technology/algorithms. The programme concludes with a master's thesis in the field of digital business or analytics.
