To study at Ulm University you need either of the following:

• general German higher education entrance qualification (Abitur)
• subject-specific higher education entrance qualification
• higher education entrance qualification without Abitur
• foreign higher education entrance qualification
• qualification that is recognised as equivalent

As a German national who completed their general higher education entrance qualification abroad but wishes to study in Baden-Württemberg, if you are a registered resident either abroad or in Baden-Württemberg, you need to have your certificate recognised by the regional office for the recognition of education certificates (Zeugnisanerkennungsstelle):
