"Your day, your way!" - At the nationwide Girls' and Boys' Day young people are given the opportunity to experience appointments far removed from stereotypical roles. Ulm University will also be opening its doors on Thursday 23 April for Girls' and Boys' Day. There are still places available in various programmes of different fields of study!

Trying things out, getting to know their own skills and experiencing new things is the focus for pupils who decide to take part in an offer on Girls' and Boys' Day at Ulm University. There are still places available in the "Programming workshop with Waddle", where girls aged twelve and over learn the fundamentals of programming using the game Waddle and experience how software development works. Participants can get a taste of the everyday life of a chemical engineer and see how varied the daily tasks of designing, simulating and experimenting are. Insights into artificial photosynthesis and 3D printing round off the programme. If you enjoy maths, the workshop "Mathematical biometry, statistics and simulation in engineering" is just the thing for you. A mathematics biometrician will show how real data can be used to simulate technical processes and create models. Both programmes are aimed at girls aged 14 and over.

Boys can still register for "Mission presentation". In this workshop, pupils aged twelve and over learn how to present knowledge in an exciting and understandable way. There are tips on how to be convincing with voice, body language and the use of media - just like a real lecturer. Boys from the age of 13 can find out who keeps a University with over 1,800 employees, more than 200 professors and around 10,000 students running through education in office management, media and information services and administration.

The offers are organised by the Ulm University's 3-Generation University. Registration is via the Girls' and Boys' Day Radar. The registration deadline is 19 April. Registered participants will receive information about the meeting point and the programme directly by email from 20 April.
