DAAD Award

Once a year, the DAAD Award is granted to an international student of Ulm University for outstanding performances. The award ceremony generally takes place in the celebratory context of the reception of the new foreign students by the mayors of Ulm and Neu-Ulm.

Aspirants can only be nominated by lecturers, student representatives (StEx) or higher education institutions for their academic performances and social or intercultural commitment. Ideally, nominees have already reached their main studies or are in their master's. New graduates and PhD candidates can be nominated, too. The respective call for proposals is usually published in July via email.
