Paper accepted at Eurographics 2017

Ulm University

Our article describes a data structure that can be used to render translucency effects in real time. It has been accepted at 38th Eurographics conference. The paper is first authored by Sebastian Maisch, Ulm University.

The authors present a new data structure that enables real-time rendering of translucency effects in objects with subsurface scattering. Light transport between vertices of a triangle mesh are precalculated and applied at run time.

The conference will take place at Lyon, April 24-28 2017.
