On 16 August 2026, the Central Library will be open on a Sunday for the last time. From 17 August until 3 October, the following opening hours will apply:
Monday to Thursday 8 am to 9 pm,
Fridays 8 am to 6 pm; closed on
Saturdays and Sundays.
(It will be open again on Saturdays from 10 October.)
The opening hours of the Library Helmholtzstrasse remain unchanged:
Monday to Friday 8 am to 4 pm
