Key topics include data publication, organization and structure, good scientific practice, data documentation, data management plans, data sharing, long-term archiving, and research data infrastructures in Germany. The course features practical exercises such as creating a data management plan, evaluating datasets for FAIRness, and utilizing electronic lab notebooks (ELN). Additionally, it introduces essential tools, licenses, and standards for managing research data.
