Entitlement assignment: Description of the service

Special authorisations assigned to your account are required to access some IT services. These authorisations, known as entitlements, are assigned to your account after the application has been submitted.

Check whether the account already has the authorisation

You can view the authorisations (entitlements) of your account by following the link "Identitätsmanagement (Identity Management)" in the right-hand navigation area of the Ulm University portal website and logging in with your Ulm University account. In the Identity Management (IDM) portal, select the "Datenspiegel (Data sheet)" section in the left-hand navigation bar and you can then view all authorisations for your account in the data protocol on the right-hand side under "Entitlements". Before submitting your application, please check whether your account already has the requested authorisations.

Steps to apply for the authorisation

To obtain a missing authorisation, you must download and complete the current version of the relevant application form (see next section). As a rule, you and your supervisor must sign the application form. Finally, scan the completed application form and send the scan of the form to us in PDF format via the submit section at the bottom of this website. We will then check the application, set the authorisation for your account after successful verification and finally inform you by e-mail about the authorisation that is now available. Depending on the content of the application, a comprehensive review and assignment can take up to a week.

Application forms for authorizations (entitlements)
