Cite a publication in OPARU

Is my publication citable in OPARU?

Electronic publications in OPARU are equivalent to conventional publications in print form due to the persistent identifier and can therefore also be cited. We recommend that you provide the citation link of the document (DOI: dx.doi.org/10.5072/OPARU-xxxx) together with the date of the last access. Example:

Doe, John. Sample title of a doctoral thesis. Ulm, University dissertation, 2015 [online]. Available at: dx.doi.org/10.5072/OPARU-1234. [Accessed 01.01.2015].

The source citation for secondary publications

When citing the original publication, please follow the citation recommendations of the respective publisher. As a rule, you can export the bibliographic particulars directly from your first publication and copy and paste them into the "Source citation of the original publication" field in the OPARU submission process. Publishers generally follow their usual citation style.
