In addition to literature in printed and electronic form, links for multimedia content (such as videos) can also be integrated.
Course reserves (Semesterapparate) are sorted by faculty and lecturer in the online catalogue and are displayed either as a complete list or separated by individual courses. Each course reserves (Semesterapparate) has its own link that allows it to be integrated into websites or the course catalogue.
Printed media contained in course reserves (Semesterapparate) are reference holdings and are located separately at the respective library location.

- Research & online information media: 24 x 7 x 365 (with the exception of irregular maintenance times of the library system aDIS/BMS)
- Physical information media: Opening hours of the library centre and the Helmholtzstraße branch office
Application modalities
The use of course reserves (Semesterapparate) is generally possible for every authorised person according to the current terms of use without a separate application.
Access to linked electronic information media may be restricted for licensing reasons.
Authorised lecturers must apply to set up or change course reserves (Semesterapparate) using a web form. Alternatively, this can also be done by e-mail, telephone or post.
